Light, filled with radiant freshness and exulting joy of discovery painting of Olga Dushechkina reminds about eternal beauty and perfection of the universe.

Period of creative formation of Olga Dushechkina fell on the edge 1980-1990-s years - stormy time of the great changes and shocks, when appeared feeling of the full, out of limits freedom of creative self-expression.

In the summer of 1991 year she started to paint by palette knife. This method of painting technique, had becoming the base in her creative work, lets save purity and brightness of color, add to he color spot special sound, creates live, agile, almost gushing painting texture.

Unique plastic qualities of oil paint in combination with specific possibilities, which gives work with palette knife, require in creative work of Dushechkina else more emotional meaning. They let to artist to create most various combinations of thick strokes, almost literally to model with paint, striving for maximal expressiveness of the material itself, special materialness and texture of the painting.

The constant discontent of herself characteristic for Dushechkina, in her striving to decide own art tasks she never stops on something achieved. Work by palette knife transforms in her hands in some magic action, at the same time realized, deeply thought over and instinctive, when sharp, pastose strokes their run and stratifications reproduce beggar all controls by mind and logical explanation element of inspiration.

Dushechkina is extraordinary sensitive for color, knows how to extricate from it expressive assonances, to create by color the mood, by composition of color spots construct on the canvas nice spectacle.

Artist creates on the canvas own painting world -impulsive, emotional, colors of which became more intense when in reality, forms more plastic.

In her pictures artist is striving for to counterbalance two realities: three-dimensional world of nature and two-dimensional image on the canvas, striving to avoid breach art integrity of painting image because of concentration of spectator's attention on illusory deep of the picture. She constructs the space not deep down, but overturns it outside.
