He lives and works in Saint-Petersburg.

Mikhail Edomsky - one of the most interesting Saint-Petersburg sculptors of his generation. In his creative work combine addressing to the primitive, to the Russian folk art, in some measure, ššBogorodskaya curving, with traditions of Saint-Petersburg culture. Interpretation of Saint-Petersburg theme originated in his art from Dostoyevsky, Garshin, Fedotov. His "Pokrov types", habitants of Colomna indissoluble connected with Saint-Petersburg, exist in the landscape of the city and attached to the definite places of their region. But in spite of visible clearness of the known images, sculptor doesn't decline till the simple description of the everyday life. As if only colored only with good humor women and yardmen, invalids and veterans, tipplers and builders carry on themselves nuance of the gloom irony, which makes more complicated and heavy their meaning. The Artist looks to them distantly, as if from the eye-look.š And, indeed, heroes of Edomsky - these are eternal inhabitants of Saint-Petersburg, appeared together with the city from marsh frog.
